It is with profound sadness that the family of Virginia Alberta Greer, aged 82, of Indianapolis, Indiana, announces her peaceful passing on July 6, 2025.
Virginia was born on December 6, 1942, in Columbus Ohio, she lived a life devoted to faith, family, friends, and fellowship. She was a bedrock of love and support to her family, a generous and caring daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and good friend to many. A loyal member of Life Tabernacle Church, Virginia considered all in her congregation her brothers and sisters in Christ.
Virginia will be remembered as a fun-loving woman of grace, warmth, and tremendous energy—she found great joy in nurturing her family and faith community, and she worked actively throughout her life on behalf of others. She was always ready with a welcoming smile and infectious laugh, a comforting word or prayer. Dedicated to faithful service, she arranged and actively participated in many Church activities. To the many whose lives she touched, she would say, “Do not grieve, for I have gone to a better place.”
Virginia is survived by her beloved children, brother, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and countless friends and loved ones who cherished her vibrant, caring spirit.
Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to honor her memory:
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a Christian charity or ministry of your choice, continuing her legacy of faith, service, and love.
