Virginia Akers Richardson

82, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on July 3, 2021.  Virginia was born on April 4, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Virgil and Eva Akers.   She graduated form Crispus Attucks High School in 1956 and was Valedictorian of her class.  She attended Indiana Central University.  She was preceded in death by her sons; Anthony and Timothy Richardson; parents and three siblings.  She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Richardson; grandchildren, Crystal, Davion, Ashley, Shauna, Dylan, D’Andre, LaTasha and LaTay and great-grandchildren, Hope, Doniece, Christian, Donald, Trinity, Layla, Tyrone, Dakota and Tylar.  Visitation will be Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 10 am till noon with services at noon at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
