Thelma Violet Bell, 94, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on June 23, 2014. She was born in Eubank, Kentucky to Oather and Martha Evans. She retired from Allison as the manager of the employee cafeteria and then worked at the Hyatt Regency in the same position. She owned an antique store at Fountain Square and she enjoyed gardening.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harley Bell, her parents, a daughter, Judith Wright and brothers and sisters. Surviving are her daughter, Sandra (Bernie) Ahaus, sisters, Mildred McWilliams and Alma McDonald, grandchildren, Scott VanderPan, Jason VanderPan, Holly (Chris) Simon and Hilary Wright as well as great-grandchildren, Olivia Simon, Joel Simon and Andrew Simon.
