Vincent Edward Fazekas

Vincent Edward Fazekas, 23, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on July 5, 2023. He was born on September 21, 1999, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Our community mourns the death of a young man who was taken too soon. His absence will be felt deeply by those who knew and loved him. As well as his wit and laughter, Vincent Fazekas will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and eagerness to lend a helping hand when needed.

Vincent was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He had a passion for music and was an avid songwriter. He had the ability to make those around him feel loved and accepted. He was always willing to listen and offer words of compassion.

Vincent is survived by his father, Kurt Fazekas and wife, Kimberly Syrus; mother, Darby Fazekas and her sweetheart, Bernie Hirsch; siblings, Nicholas, Rachel, and Benjamin Fazekas, Jordan and Bryant Hennessey, and Zach Syrus; grandparents, Marilyn and Russell Pitz and Eva and Dale Fazekas; nieces, Luella and Mila Fazekas; and his canine companion, Loki.

Visitation for Vincent will be from 4 – 7 PM on Monday, July 10, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan – Geist – 7855 Cork Road, Indianapolis, IN 46236. An additional visitation will be from 1 – 2 PM on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Holy Spirit Parish at Geist – 10350 Glaser Way, Fishers, IN 46037, with a funeral mass immediately following at 2 PM.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Fazekas’ family and friends during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the wonderful memories of Vincent, and may his spirit live on in their hearts forever.
