Vincent Alexander Chiaro, 92, Carmel passed away March 16, 2020. He was born October 23, 1927 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Alexander and Angelina (Brunazzo) Chiaro. He married Eleanor (Gryczewski) Chiaro on April 18, 1953.
Vince served in the US Army during the Korean War and was trained as a Medic. His career with Republic Steel began in Chicago, IL as a Salesman and relocated to Indianapolis, IN and retired as an Office Manager. He enjoyed golf and was a long ball hitter as he entertained customers and fellow members of the steel industry. He was a storyteller and many were shared over meals with his beloved family.
He is survived by two daughters, Diane (Jim) Sourwine and Linda Benson; son-in-law David Berg; and grandchildren, Matt, Joe, Jenny, Cortney (Cody), Max, Sam, Jana, Jadyn, and Joy. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Jean Billo, Catherine Miller, and Alexander Chiaro; loving spouse Eleanor (Gryczewski) Chiaro; daughter Sharon Berg; and son-in-law, Curt Benson.
