Vie Bowie

Vie Bowie, 80, gained her wings and went to be with the Lord on December 19, 2021. She was born in Gary, Indiana on August 14, 1941. Vie was a wonderful and sweet mom, grandma, and friend to many. She will be missed sorely by all the lives she has touched.

Vie is survived by her daughter, Rebecca A Bowie; son, Ronald A Bowie; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren—all whom she loved dearly!

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 12:00PM-2:00PM with a graveside ceremony following at Flanner Buchanan—Memorial Park, 9350 E Washington St. Indianapolis, Indiana 46229.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 3PM-6PM at the American Legion, Post 260, 5675 Mulberry Ave. Portage, IN 46368, to celebrate Vie’s life and share together her memories and her new journey.
