Obituary

Victoria Hodell Auld, 81, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away peacefully early Easter morning, April 5, 2026, after a nearly five-year battle with cancer, which she fought with grace and unwavering faith. She was born on November 15, 1944, to her late parents, Robert D. and Lorene Hodell.

Victoria lived the majority of her life in Fort Wayne, graduating from Elmhurst High School in 1963 and then attending Butler University. She worked as the head office manager of Bobeck Real Estate for over 35 years, retiring in 2013.

As a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Victoria was known for her lively spirit and keen attention to detail.

She was a horse lover and rode avidly for the majority of her life. At the barn, Victoria was known not only for her exceptional English riding technique, but also for the meticulous and personalized love she showed to the animals in her care. In addition to riding, Victoria loved shopping, had a keen sense of fashion, and enjoyed spending intentional time with friends.

Her crowning achievement was raising her three beautiful daughters. Additionally, Victoria cherished her grandchildren, being a constant and loving presence in their lives. She was a woman of faith who fostered her relationship with Christ through prayer and faithful participation in the Church.

Victoria is survived by her daughters, Molly (Keith McConnell) Wittler, Emily (Chris) Irmscher, and Kelly (Brian) Gerster; her grandchildren, Kyle (Malone) Wittler, Kandace (Alex) Ailshie, Macey Gerster, Kelly Wittler, Lesley Gerster, Kurt Wittler, Magan Irmscher, Maxwell Irmscher, and Molly Irmscher; and four great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Gathering for Victoria will begin at 11:00 am followed by a memorial service at noon on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Flanner Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite) – 9700 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46250. Burial will take place in Fort Wayne with immediate family.
