Vickie Jean Bonta Loy

69 of Poland, Indiana, passed away on October 20, 2023, in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 29, 1954, to the late Robert and Phyllis (Truex) Bonta.  Vickie graduated from Washington High School in Indianapolis.  She loved remembering her childhood days as well as passing down stories to her nieces and nephews.  Vickie was preceded in death by her husband Robert, both of her parents, stepfather Joe Hutchinson, stepmother Anna “Mici” Bonta, brothers Mike and Robby, sisters Patricia Osborne and Terri Lou Bonta.  She is survived by brother Thomas (Annette) Bonta, brother-in-law John Osborne, sister Diane (Aaron) Whitaker, brother Dax Hutchinson, stepsiblings James E. Vaughn, Jr., Cathy (Ed) Mobley, Steve (Marty) Vaughn, Terri (Andy) Swartz, David (Bobbie) Vaughn, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Graveside service will be Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 11 am at Floral Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors.
