Vickie L. Lavoy

Vickie L. Lavoy, age 60, of Indianapolis, passed away February 28, 2014. She was born January 31, 1954 in Indianapolis to Hugo and Anna Strubel. Survivors include her companion of more than 30 years, Bill Watt; son, Stephen Lavoy, Jr.; grandson, Steve Lavoy, III; mother, Anna Strubel; sister, Shirley Wall; brothers, Gary(Madelaine) Strubel and Greg(Liz) Strubel; six nieces and nephews, Jamie and Melissa Wall, Heath, Brandon, and Hannah Strubel, and Erin Finecy. Vickie was preceded in death by her father, Hugo Strubel and nephew, Kyle. Vickie was a veteran of the U.S. Army. She loved being with her family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 11-1 PM with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street.
