Vicki Lynn Wentworth

Vicki Lynn Wentworth, age 67, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, December 30, 2023.  She passed away under the love and care of her husband, family, and her pup Daisy-Mae.  Vicki was born on August 11, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Lawrence “Larry” and Norma (Smith) Poe.  She married Timothy Wentworth on January 3, 1976 and they enjoyed a wonderful, full, life together.  Vicki worked as an Administrator for the Indiana State Department of Health.  She was a valued and appreciated employee whose only request was to have and keep the window in her work space.  Vicki had a wonderful life full of adventure and family.  She and Timothy toured the world, exploring Korea, the Caribbean islands, Mexico, South America, Central America, Hawaii and Japan.  Vicki experienced the many cultures of the world and enjoyed a life full of action.  Her ventures included whitewater rafting to parasailing and everything in between.  She was deeply loved by family and friends and her loss is profoundly felt.  She is survived by her husband, Timothy; a daughter, Amber June; two sisters, Karen Hale and Theresa Eichblatt; a grandson, Ryan June; two granddaughters, Annabelle June and Abby June; and a son-in-law, George June II.  Vicki also leaves behind beloved cousins, nephews, and family by marriage.  Family and friends are invited to Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park Funeral Home, 425 Holt Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46222, from 4pm-8pm on Friday, January 12, 2024 to grieve and say goodbye.  Final funeral services will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 10am.
