Vicki Rennier

Greenfield, Indiana – Vicki Rennier, 74, passed away after being comforted by her family and friends. Her kind heart, strong will, and love will be deeply missed.

Vicki was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to parents Raymond and Mabel (Campbell) Vernier on September 15, 1951. A graduate of Arlington High School, Vicki worked as a nail technician for over 40 years before her retirement.

When not working, Vicki was a fan of games of all kinds, whether that was scrabble, card games, or Sizzling 7’s at the casino, she loved to play. She also loved to spend time in her garden with her flowers or watching a Yankee’s game.

Her biggest joys in life though were her family and her time with God. She found great purpose in taking care of her children, and then her grandchildren. Her support was always there; every game and every event had her presence. The best wife, mom, and grandmother, her loss will leave a hole that will be felt for many years.

Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mabel Vernier.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Floyd Rennier; children Vincent Trattner, Victor Trattner, Vance Trattner (Jeannie), Vanessa Cowan (Chad), and Ryan Rennier (Courtney); grandchildren Aubrea Trattner, Arik Trattner, Ashton Trattner, Kylee Trattner, Reed Trattner, Mckenzie Trattner, Alexander Trattner, Maxwell Trattner, Valerie Eastes, Caden Cowan, Landon Rennier, and Chael Rennier; great grandchildren Paisley Sweet, Ripley Walsh, Brooks Walsh, and Guinevere Irwin; siblings Vaughn Vernier (Sue), Vivi Mason, Vette Jennings (Bruce), and Venetia Shultz (Joe); as well as countless nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 9 – 11 am at St. Michael’s Catholic Church (519 Jefferson Boulevard, Greenfield, Indiana 46140) with funeral mass following at 11 am. Burial will take place at Our Lady of Peace cemetery following services.
