Verna Drake Brewer

Verna Brewer, 91, of Indianapolis passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011. Verna was preceded in death by her son James E. Brewer, brothers Emerson, Wilfred, Hiram, and Curtis Drake. She is survived by her husband, Ernest E. Brewer, children William M. Mark, Larry and Ernie Brewer and Deborah K. Brewer, grandchildren Jamie Simpson, Dawn Mark McNulty, Jill Nolbertwicz, Monty McKentry, Kelly Mitchell, Monique Brown, Jennifer Moore, Annie Walker, and Seiko Brewer, and 14 great grandchildren. Also surviving is sister Thelma Drake, brother Ross Drake, and sisters-in-law, Betty Drake and Leona Drake. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 1 pm from the funeral Center. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
