Vern Fawver

Vern Fawver, 65 of Greenfield was born December 11, 1949 and died on July 31, 2015. He was born in Santa Ana, California and grew up in Greenfield. He retired from the Greenfield Police Department after 15 years of service. He has been an Internal Investigator for Eli Lilly since 1992. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and Bradley United Methodist Church in Greenfield. Vern enjoyed yard work, grilling for his family and friends, old cars and was an avid Colts fan who held season tickets. He will always be remembered for being a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Harlan Fawver. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Becky Leonard Fawver, his children, Toni Fawver and Aaron (Crystal) Fawver, mother, Frances Fawver-Waugh, sisters, Judie Wiggins and Colleen (Greg) Sampson, his brothers, Kevin (May) Fawver and Jay (Kris) Fawver and his grandchildren, Estella, Zachary, Kaden, Collin, Brock and Eden.
