Vera Mae Christman

Vera Mae Christman, 83, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018. She was born in Monroeville, IN, as the daughter of the late Earl and Edna (Jones) Smith. Vera grew up and lived in the Fort Wayne area and later relocated to Fishers IN. Vera is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bernard “Pete”; her children, Karen (David) Pfister and Philip (Sue) Christman. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia, and was preceded in death by two brothers. Vera loved her 3 grandchildren and 6 great granddaughters.

Visitation will take place this Friday, August 10, 2018, from 1 pm until 2 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Road, Fishers IN., with the funeral service beginning at 2 pm.
