72 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on May 7, 2023. Vera was born on July 15, 1950, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Ivan and Sarah Newby. She was a retired bus driver for Wayne Township Schools. She was preceded in death by husband, Charles Ray Bear and her parents. She is survived by her children, Leon (Stephanie Strole) Bear, Chuck (Cindy) Bear and Kellie Bear; grandchildren, McKenzie Bear, Garrett Bear, Morgan Bear and Kayla (Josh) Moore; siblings, John (Mary) Newby and Aggie Pemberton and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 1 pm with calling from 10:30 am at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Entombment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
