Valerie D. Henson

Valerie D. Henson, 65 of Fishers, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018.  Valerie was born May 13, 1953 in Marion, IN to the late Jesse and Mildred Coffey.

Valerie was a purchasing agent for Heritage Environmental Labs, where she worked for 30 years.  She was a member of the Fishers American Legion Post 470 Ladies Auxiliary where she served as Sargent at Arms. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Legion and gambling.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 2:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday, December 16 at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn memorial Gardens, Conner Suite, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Monday, December 17. Entombment will follow in the St. Luke Mausoleum at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

Valerie is survived by her husband, Roger; daughter, Lana K. Blair; grandchildren, Victoria, Isabella and Mattilda Thomason; sons Larry and Lonnie Binnion; sisters, Patricia (husband, Rob) Christensen and Debbie Harlan.  She was preceded in death by her grandson, Nicholas Thomason, step-grandson, Kole Blair and brother, Mark Coffey.
