Trey Eugene Gipson

Trey Eugene Gipson, lovingly known as Trey Trey, passed away on September 21, 2023. He was born on June 29, 1999, in Indianapolis. Trey was a remarkable individual who brought joy into the lives of those around him.

Trey attended and completed his education at Hamilton Southeastern High School, where he enjoyed community outings and music therapy. One of Trey's greatest passions was everything Disney. He found immense joy in the enchanting tales of characters like Woody from Toy Story, Belle from Beauty and The Beast, and Nemo, Marlin, and Dory from Nemo. He had a great appreciation for a good meal or a favorite snack. Trey was able to experience various therapies thru out his life, but aquatic therapy quickly became a favorite and solidified his love for the water.

Trey is survived by his loving parents, Amy and Brett Lemieux; his twin brother, Blake; step-siblings, Maddie and Jaxson Lemieux; beloved nana and papaw, Dennise and Lyle Ettinger, who provided unwavering love and support throughout his life; cherished grandparents, Gene Featheringill, Cindy Featheringill, Debbie Lister, Allan and Valerie Gipson, and Larry and Cheri Lemieux. Great grandparents, Roberta Kerns, Rita Staples, Alice Gipson and Betty (Phil) Trimble. Also surviving are his aunts and uncles, Chuck and Tammi Ettinger, Danny and Heide Ettinger, Abby Featheringill, Shelby Featheringill, Alyssa Kanable, Alex Gipson, Adam Gipson, Nicole and Ryan Erickson, Jason and Carey Ettinger, and Tom and Sheri Lister; his great aunts, Kim and Bill McGowen and Debbie Borden and a large, loving extended family.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Trey's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. November 18th, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan - Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters), 4180 Westfield Road.  A Celebration of Life Gathering will immediately follow until 5:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Vincent Equine Assisted Therapy Program that runs the Hippotherapy Program that benefitted Blake and Trey for years.
