Treva Margret (Keel) Heck

Treva Heck, a loving, strong, and caring mother and grandmother passed away January 13, 2022, at the age of 79. She was a life-long resident of Indianapolis but also spent time living in Florida during the winter months.

Treva enjoyed spending time with her family, the beach, Disney, traveling, cruising, and watching horse racing.

Treva married her husband, Ronald Lee Heck Sr, at the young age of 16. They had three children together and now have six grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ron, her brothers and sisters, as well as her beloved dog Maddie.

Treva is survived by her children Ronald Lee Heck Jr (Claudia), Tracy Whitaker (Troy), and Stephanie Silverberg (David), as well as her grandchildren Trey Whitaker, Paige Heck, Jake Whitaker, Zoey Whitaker, Callen Silverberg, and Tessa Silverberg.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Old Friends Farm (a thoroughbred retirement farm) in Treva’s name at 1841 Paynes Depot Rd. Georgetown, KY 40324

Visitation will be held Friday, January 21, from 10:30 am to 12 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis. The service will begin there at 12:00 pm. Online condolences may be shared at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
