Tony Saran (Antonios Sarandinoudis)

Tony Saran (Antonios Sarandinoudis) was born August 1, 1935 in the village of Mesta on the island of Chios in Greece. He was the fourth child of Sarantos Sarandinoudis and Kaliope Kanaki. He came to the United States in 1954. He was an entrepreneur and established many companies including Saran Painting Company in 1964 in Indianapolis, IN. He was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. He is survived by his beloved wife Linda (Lambrini Papaliodis) and five children Kaliope Selby, Irene Young (Steve), Sam Saran, Nicholas Saran (Yaping), Maria Rigakos (Pete), and eleven grandchildren Angela, Alexander, Michael, Anastacia, Antony, Evan, Sophia, Antonina, Theodore, Sarantos, Panagiota and his sister Angie. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Lambrini, Annetta, and brother John. Funeral will be held at St George Orthodox Church at 10748 East 116th Street, Fishers, Indiana 46037 on Friday August 19th at 11am with a visitation hour at 10 am prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or the Alzheimer’s Association of America. Flanner and Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens handling arrangements.
