Tommy R. Francis

Tommy R. Francis Sr. of Indianapolis, IN went to be with the Lord on June 19. 2015 at the age of 74. Tommy retired in 2004 and is a U.S. Army veteran. Tommy is survived by his wife of 26 years Virginia F. Francis; sons Gregory W. Francis, Paul B. Shideler, and Allen M. Shideler; grandchildren Tommy R. Francis III, Gregory W. Francis II, Baylauna J. Shideler, and Ashley King; and sisters Ella Mae Fugate of Blackey, KY, Mona (Sonny) Voignier of Cape Coral, FL, and Marilyn Francis of Ft. Myers, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Volina Francis, son Tommy R. Francis II, and brothers Hobart and Eugene Francis. Services will be held 12 noon Wednesday, June 24 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis with visitation 10 AM until the time of service. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
