Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Mae Etta Sweatt and Bates Toliver, Nannette grew up alongside her beloved brothers, Roscoe Toliver and Benjamin Toliver, who preceded her in death.

Throughout her life, Nannette was blessed with 11 Children: Shelby Moredock, Cindy Moredock, Steven Moredock, Selena Moredock, Michael Moredock, Jacqueline Moredock, Richard Moredock, Stacey Stovall, Janet Stovall, Regina Demery, Orville Demery III.

She was united in marriage to Orville Demery II on September 11, 1976. Together, they shared a life filled with family, memories, and love.

Nannenett was loving known by her family and friends as "Silky".

Her family continued to grow, blessing her with 29 grandchildren, as well as great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Each generation is a beautiful reminder of the life she lived and the legacy she leaves behind.

Nannette leaves behind more than memories - she leaves behind generations. Her name, her stories, her strength, and the love she gave will continue to live through her children, grandchildren, and every generation that follows.

Her life was a gift. Her family is her legacy. Her love will on for generations.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Flanner Buchanan - Floral Park from 11AM - 12PM. Funeral Service will begin at 12PM with burial to follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
