Todd M. Dudley, Jr. (TJ), 32, of Denver, CO, formerly of Indianapolis, IN passed away accidentally on Thursday, August 31, 2023. TJ was born on April 18, 1991 in Indianapolis. TJ is survived by his parents Dr. Todd M. Dudley, Sr. and Dorothy (Dottie) Dudley; his autistic twin sisters Taylor and Morgan, his sister Jaclyn Paige and brother William Dudley; Uncle, Dr. Tim Dudley (Cindy), Aunt, Shannon Dudley-Collins (Dennis); Uncles Jim (Twanette) Schaefer and Rusty (Michelle) Schaefer, along with several cousins.
TJ graduated from Lutheran High School of Indianapolis in 2010 and attended Ball State University in Muncie, IN, studying journalism and telecommunications. He did a summer internship at WTHR-TV and co-hosted a radio show called “Throwback Thursday” for Ball State’s WCRD. After Ball State, TJ remained in Muncie, IN and worked at the Muncie Mission as the I.T. administrator and Visual Media. In 2020, TJ moved to Denver, CO and furthered his career by working at the Denver Rescue Mission as Development Office Coordinator and then Donor Relations Associate.
TJ will always be remembered for his kind and generous heart in helping others. His parents and siblings always looked forward to game night and his quick wit in playing Apples to Apples. When TJ was home for visits, he would always play his ukulele or guitar, playing mostly The Beatles. TJ also formed a band with his high school friends called Spectrum, in which he was lead singer. In the last year of his life, he had recorded several songs that he posted on Sound Cloud under the name of Foxtrot, with an original song called “Wishing You the Best”.
Family and friends are invited to gather from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 24 at Flanner
