Tina Louise Johnson

Tina Louise Johnson, 52, passed away unexpectedly August 19, 2012 at her home. She was born July 4, 1960 in Indianapolis the daughter of Elizabeth Ann (Lynch) and Marvin Allen Smith. Tina was a 1978 graduate of Avon High School. She had worked for Faris Mailing, CPPM, and Fiserv as a mail handler and machinist. Tina was baptized at Bartlett Chapel United Methodist Church. She loved children and her family and will be deeply missed. Tina is survived by her husband, Marty whom she married May 6, 2011; her children, Derrick Tipton Jr. and Shauna Tipton; step-children, Ryan (Amy) Johnson, David (Jamie) Johnson and Jessica (Bob) Kimble; 15 grandchildren; brother, Michael (Christine) Smith; sisters, Susan (Bob) Davis, Claire Birkla, Sandra (Dale) Scholz, Rebecca Smith, Jennie Smith, and Patricia Smith; 18 nieces and nephews and one great niece. She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Derrick B. Tipton Sr. Services will be held 3:00 P.M. August 24, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 Holt Rd., with visitation from 11:00 A.M. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
