Timothy "Sam" Wyman

Timothy “Sam” Michael Wyman 63 passed away November 14,2023.

Sam was born June 30, 1960, in Indianapolis, Indiana to James and Aline Wyman. Sam was a 1978 graduate of Decatur Central High School. He resided in Decatur Township his entire life. He met his wife Angela in 1977 and they married April 11th, 1981. He worked at 3M for 38 years. Sam was a dedicated family man. He coached youth sports in Decatur Township for 15 years.

Sam enjoyed fishing, tinkering, golfing, watching his grandkids play sports, Hawks Football, and enjoyed hanging with friends in his garage. He always preached honesty and integrity with everyone he knew. He wanted to supervise all projects and ran his show “he’s the boss”. Sam was very outgoing person who loved to laugh and have fun. He was known for being a jokester. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He spent almost every day with them. He enjoyed going to the gym with Brooklyn, golfing with Brody, and being Sammi’s playmate. Sam will be missed more than he will ever know. Our lives will never be the same.

He is proceeded in death by his parents James and Aline Wyman. Debbie Wyman(sister) Cathy Niehaus (sister). He is survived by his wife Angela Wyman of 42 years.; his daughter Heather Wyman (Chris), Son Cory Wyman; his grandchildren Brooklyn, Brody, and Samantha Theresa Marks (sister) ; and Brother Jimmy Wyman (Lynne) and many nieces, nephews.

Funeral service will take place at 6 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Valley Mills Christian Church, 5555 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46221. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until time of service.

 In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sam Wyman Scholarship fund. The family will have a spot available for contributions at the service.
