Timothy Edward Faulk of Indianapolis, age 75, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025. Tim was born on September 11, 1950, in Indianapolis, IN, a son of the late John and Katie Faulk. Tim will be greatly missed by his wife Lynn (Maines) of 50 years; and his children Jessica (Mike) Sinkovic and Jennifer (Brian) Scheidler. He is forever remembered by his four grandchildren, Samantha, Timothy, Leo and Graham. He is preceded in death by his brothers Mike Faulk and Rick Faulk and is survived by his brothers John Faulk and Jeff Faulk and sister Debbie Miles.
In 1975 Tim began his career as one of the first paid firefighters for the Pike Township Fire Department. He continued working for 25 years in multiple roles ultimately retiring as the Fire Chief in 2000. After retiring he began his second career of 15 years at Ivy Tech as a professor for fire science and safety classes. He was dedicated to mentoring young firefighters beginning their careers.
Tim was a great man who was focused on his family. He was always there to lend a hand, play with his grandchildren or give excellent advice and encouragement. In retirement you could find him at his grandchildren's sporting events or on adventures with his family.
After receiving a Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2023, Tim committed to boxing classes three days a week at Fight Back Fitness with one of his daughters by his side each time. Special thanks to Coach CoCo for all her support.
Those who knew Tim will remember him for keeping people safe, never giving up, always having a story to share or an ear to listen. He had a gift for making others laugh and being the person others could always count on.
