Timothy James Fitzgerald

Timothy James Fitzgerald, 73, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 26^th, 2023. Tim was born on January 12^th, 1950, to Robert and Laverne Fitzgerald in Port Huron, Michigan.

Tim attended Cathedral High School and was a 1972 graduate of Ball State University where he played baseball for the Cardinals. Tim taught and coached for over 40 years in the Lawrence Township school system, including Craig Jr. High and Lawrence North High School. Tim was strong in his Catholic faith and an active member of the St. Louis de Montfort parish.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Coryell) Fitzgerald. They were married in August 2002 and had the joy of raising four children together: Kyle Fitzgerald (Carly), Kelly Fitzgerald (Antuan), Alicen Teitgen (Jake), and Kyle Miller (Ellie). They have welcomed six grandchildren: Jules, Eve, Toby, DJ, Annie, and Freddie.

Tim will be greatly missed as he was a devoted husband, father, and grandpa (Pa). He enjoyed cooking, woodworking, coaching, skiing, playing tennis and golf, and most of all spending time with family.

Tim is also survived by his brothers Tom (Roseanna), Pat (Sharon), Mike (Karen) and sister, Mary (Nora) Fitzgerald. He is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Lou Ann Priest Fitzgerald.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, 11441 Hague Road, Fishers. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 p.m., with a eulogy prior at 11:45 a.m. Interment in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
