Timothy L. Duncan, 78, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025, in his beloved city of Indianapolis, where he was born on December 6, 1946. He leaves behind a legacy of love a devoted dad, grandpa, and great grandpa.

Timothy dedicated over 26 years of his life to serving as the head janitor at Warren Central High School, a role in which he was respected for his hard work and commitment to the school community. His contributions went beyond maintenance; he was a cherished figure among the students and staff alike, known for his friendly demeanor and willingness to lend a helping hand.

A man of many talents, Timothy played the drums since he was just seven years old and enjoyed performing with various bands throughout his life. His passion for music was a testament to his fun-loving spirit and provided joy not only to himself but to those who had the pleasure of hearing him play.

Timothy's personality shone brightly in every interaction—he was a jokester with a gift for making others smile. His family was his proudest accomplishment, and he cherished the moments spent with them, creating memories that will be held dear forever.

Timothy is survived by his daughters Dawn (Keith) Irby and Del-lest (Gary Cotton) Duncan, his stepson Freddie Armour. His grandchildren Keerea Irby, Awnye Rogers, Elijah Irby, Andre Bonner and Symphonie Cotton. His dear great grandkids Isabella O’Hare, Soleia O’Hare, and Zora O’Hare and Lyla Bonner . His Sibling Ricky Robinson, Russell Toliver, Bud Toliver, Wanda “Jelly” Toliver, Pam Toliver, Bonnie “Marica” Toliver, and Darlene Cook.

Timothy is preceded in death by his loving wife Evorah Duncan. His siblings Daryl Toliver, Sheryl Toliver, and Dwayne “Keytoe”Toliver.

A memorial service to honor Timothy's life will be held on August 15, 2025, at Washington Park East, located at 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229, starting at 4:00 PM and concluding at 5:00 PM.

Timothy L. Duncan will be remembered not only for his professional contributions and musical talents but also for the love and laughter he brought into the lives of those around him.
