Timothy Alan “Tim” Courtney, 65, of Fishers, Indiana, walked into the arms of Jesus, on March 8, 2026.

Tim was born on March 20, 1960, in Mooreland, Indiana, to Marion and Carolyn Courtney. He was a man who valued family, kindness, faith and integrity, which shaped the way he lived his life.

Tim enjoyed a successful 42-year career in the technology industry. He spent the early part of his career working for Ontario Systems in Muncie, and retired last April from Fiserv in Indianapolis. Throughout these years he was respected for his knowledge, professionalism, and dedication, earning the admiration of colleagues and friends alike.

Above all, Tim was devoted to his family. Tim loved spending time on the lake and traveling with his family, creating memories that will be forever cherished. He was also a skilled wood worker and enjoyed creating special gifts for his children and grandchildren that will be treasured for years to come. He will be remembered for his kind heart, steady presence, and the genuine care he showed to everyone around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Carolyn Courtney; his parents in love, Gene and Patti Warner, his sister, Jill Carlson; his brother, Mike Courtney; his nephew, Ryan Courtney and his niece, Meredith Rankin.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Kathy Warner Courtney; his children, Katie (Aaron) Walker and Timothy (Nora) Courtney; and his cherished grandchildren, Caroline Walker, Scott Walker, Trey Courtney, Annie Walker and Kennedy Courtney. He is also survived by his sister, Janna (Tim) McCan; his brother-in-law, Tom (Debbie) Warner; his sisters-in-law, Debbie (Doug) Gregg and Julie (Glen) Holbert; Judy Courtney and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Donations honoring Tim’s life may be directed to Tiny Hero, 5513 W. 11000 N. #235 Highland, UT 84003. This organization supports families diagnosed with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) that his grandson Trey was born with four years ago.

Tim’s family will forever treasure the memories they shared with him and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
