Tia Lynn Bergen
61, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on July 22, 2022. Tia was born to Barbara (Bergen) Strauch and Paul Bergen on December 7, 1960, in Rushville, Indiana. Tia retired from Nishada Cleaning Services. Tia had many friends from all walks of life. She always had a beautiful smile and a kind word for everyone she met. Tia loved animals and babies and although she had no children of her own, she was a mother and grandmother to many. Liberty (Jesse) Cairde and her three girls, Laura Strough and her daughter, Raya. She is survived by her companion, Joe Hopkins; mother, Barbara Strauch; sisters, Cindy (Dan) Rodenburg, Connie (Dave) Halvorson, Chris (Monty) Sawyer, Kelly Bergen and Melissa Bergen; brothers, Damon (Angie) Bergen, David (Kimberly) Flannery and Darin Flannery. Those that were raised together as siblings, Delena Piece, Cathy and Robert Bergen, Robin Courtney and Eddie Souls. As well as many friends, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Bergen. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Visitation will be Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Funeral service will be Friday, July 29, 2022, at 11 am at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
