Thomas "Tom" W. Caveny

Thomas W. Caveny, age 78, of Greenwood, IN, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018. Tom was born June 17, 1940 to the late Carvel W. Caveny and Myrtle Caveny.  

He was a graduate of Wood High School and was a member of Southport Heights Christian Church. Tom was employed as a machinist at Western Electric for 29 years and General Motors for 11 years. Tom was a member of both the U.A.W. and the I.B.E.W. 

Tom was a kindhearted loving man who made friends wherever he would go. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of cars, delighted in buying and selling them, and going to car auctions. He was active within the Greenwood Village Community where he lived and enjoyed playing Euchre, Bingo and Pinochle.  

Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Jane; his daughter, Rose Lynk (Kevin); a grandson, Glen Tumey and his extended family, Glen Inman (Linda), Fern Doty, Neva Myrtle (Glen) and Lovetta Kelsay (Shelby). 

Services to be held at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis. Visitation will be on Friday, December 14, from 4:00-8:00pm. Funeral Services will be on Saturday at 10:00am.
