Thomas Robert Duke

Thomas Robert Duke, 47, Fishers, passed away July 10, 2011. He was born March 22, 1964, in Lebanon, the son of Thomas Lee and Judith (Cornell) Duke. He graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University where he was a member of the Chi Phi Fraternity. He was also a member of the American Legion SAL. Along with his father, they own and operate Duke’s Car Wash in Carmel. He enjoyed NASCAR and Jimmy Buffett, but above all else he was devoted to his family. Tom is survived by his wife, Kellie Duke; two sons, Brent and Daniel Duke; father, Thomas Lee Duke; two sisters, Deborah and Jennifer Duke; and his beloved Great Dane, Abigail Duke. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Duke, and grandparents, John and Genevieve Meek. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011, at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive. Visitation will be 4-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Hamilton County Humane Society.
