Thomas John Dwyer

Thomas John Dwyer 68, of Anderson, IN completed his earthly journey surrounded by family and entered into his new chapter of life in comfort with his Lord on August 19, 2013, after a long and courageous battle with his heart. He was born February 18, 1945 in Indianapolis; IN. Thomas has been employed for Sheet Metal Local #20 for over 40 years. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. He enjoyed watching Nascar Racing, Colts and Western movies. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Dwyer, mother Evelyn Dwyer and brother Jim Dwyer. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Myla Gene Dwyer. Children: Jeffrey Dwyer, Janet Dwyer-Edwards (Tim), Michael Dwyer (Kellie). 3 grandchildren: Kayla Kirkman, Dalton Edwards, Austin Edwards, 6 siblings and a host of other relatives. Thomas will be greatly missed by his special four-legged companion Maggie. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the physicians, nurses and staff at Community Heart and Vascular North that took part in his care over the years and giving him the title of "sheriff" and providing him with a badge. Although he has retired from here, he will take it with him and continue his duties through his next chapter in life. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, LOVE leaves a memory no one can steal."
