Thomas J. Nix

Thomas J. Nix, 60, Carmel, passed away October 7, 2011, after a courageous eight year battle with cancer. He was born April 9, 1951, in Evansville, the son of Ralph and Ruth (Barnett) Nix. He was married to Terri (Erickson) Nix on June 1, 2002. Tom was Chief Operating Officer and Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for The Hylant Group. He was an avid sports fan, who enjoyed traveling, golf, playing cards, singing, and fellowship with believers. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Nix; wife, Terri Nix; two sons, Damon and Ryan Nix; brother, Roger (Ruth) Nix; and a sister, Tawana Nix. He was preceded in death by his father. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at Radiant Christian Life Church, 16162 Carey Road. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011, also at the church. Arrangements were entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Carmel.
