Thomas George Walker

Thomas George (Tom) Walker, 87, was taken to heaven on November 19, 2025. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl, and looked forward to seeing her again.

Tom was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. His main occupations were as owner of South Audubon Market in Irvington, and later delivering book fairs for School Book Fairs Company.

He served in the U.S.Army Reserves at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin for 7 years. He continued to be a patriot throughout his life.

Tom was an avid Euchre player and loved watching football and basketball with his son Tommy, especially his favorite teams Purdue, Colts, Chicago Bears, and The Pacers.

Tom leaves his loving wife of 67 years (Janet Scrivner) and a son, Thomas (Debbie). There are 4 grandchildren, Kristina (Justin), Mark (Cayla), Kelsey and Megan. He also has 4 great-grandchildren, Will, Ava, Quincy, and OakLynn.

Tom has one remaining brother, Mike (Ruthann "Nee" Grever) and one sister, Mary Ann (Chuck). There are so many friends and family that Tom truly loved.

Visitation and a service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 3932 Mi Casa Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46237. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00pm with a service beginning at 2:00pm.

Lunch will be served afterwards compliments of Ladies Auxiliary of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
