Thomas Dean Smith

Thomas Dean Smith, 56, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012. He was born December 31. 1955, in Indianapolis, IN, son of Harold T. and Frances M. (Canterberry) Smith. He was a member of the 1974 graduating class of John Marshall High School and played bass guitar in area bands for several years and had worked at Western Electric for 4 years. He was preceded in death by his father February 3, 2008. Thomas is survived by his wife Paula (Wyrick) Smith, his daughters, Andrea and Chelsea Smith both of Indianapolis; his mother Frances of Indianapolis; a brother Harold Edward Smith of Indianapolis and his niece, Tiffany Smith of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 2 pm, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
