Thomas A Grimmelsman

Thomas A. Grimmelsman, 76 of Carmel, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023.  Tom was born August 23, 1946 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Joseph and Alberta Grimmelsman.  He was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and received his master’s degree from Cal State University.

Tom was a blind rehabilitation therapist for the Veteran’s Administration, retiring in 2009.  He most recently attended St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church and was a former member of St. Monica Catholic Church.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3:00 pm Wednesday, May 17 in the chapel at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.

Tom is survived by his wife, Lynn; daughters, Alice L. (husband, William Wardlaw) Grimmelsman, Anna S. (husband, Jeremy Lapington) Grimmelsman, Claire E. (husband, Christopher) Devlin; grandchildren, Josie Devlin and Charles Devlin. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph and John Grimmelsman and sisters, Mary Josephine Florence and Nancy M. Harmon.
