Therese Louise Swinehart

Therese Louise Swinehart 53 of Indianapolis, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend died August 17, 2015. Therese was born on March 29, 1962 in Indianapolis to Jerry Dean and Marlene Ann (Lossin) Swinehart. She graduated Manual High School class of 1980 and IU Bloomington in 1984 with her BA in Journalism. Therese was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and she worked as an administrative assistant for the Indiana Division of Macy. She will be remembered for her gentle and unassuming nature, and for her generosity to others. Therese was preceded in death by her mother Marlene Ann Swinehart. A memorial visitation will be held on Monday August 24, 2015 at St. Monica Catholic Church 6131 North Michigan Road Indianapolis, IN 46228 at 11 am followed by a Memorial Mass at Noon. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Therese is survived by her father Jerry Dean (Dede) Swinehart and her siblings Debbie (Jim) Baker and Gregory (Mitra Walter) Swinehart and three nieces and one nephew. Memorial contributions may be given to the Arthritis Foundation 615 Alabama Street Indianapolis, IN 46204. Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North are handling arrangements.
