Therese Glassmeyer

Therese Glassmeyer died peacefully on September 12th, 2026. She was born on July 8, 1955, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of the late Robert and Patricia Glassmeyer. She is survived by three siblings, Celeste Kleinhelter (Kurt), Laura Glassmeyer, and Rob Glassmeyer (Tanya).

Therese received a BA in English from Indiana University in 1977 and an MA in English at the University of Delaware in 1980. She was a devoted educator for more that forty years, teaching at the University of Delaware for several years as well as Salesianum School from 1980-1992. Returning to Indiana in 1992, Therese began a rewarding career at Park Tudor School in Indianapolis, where she taught until 2020.

She cherished her time with students and shared many wondertul memories of Park Tudor throughout her career.

Therese thoroughly enjoyed the relaxation and adventure of retirement and spent time with hobbies such as traveling, gardening, bird-watching, and reading. Services for Therese will be private. Donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America.
