Theresa Roseanna Mushalla

Theresa Roseanna Mushalla, 90, of Zionsville, passed away on December 3, 2024. She was born on July 6, 1934, to the late William McDermott and Elizabeth Carr. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Joseph Edward Mushalla.

She made her professional career as a teacher in the New York City public school system. She obtained 30 education credits above her master’s degree in education, having attended both Brookyln College and Long Island University.

She is survived by her children, Michael Mushalla, Eileen Sturner, and Joseph Gerard Mushalla, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The Memorial Mass will be at 11 AM on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at St. Alphonsus Liquori Catholic Church, 1870 W. Oak Street, Zionsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
