Theodore W. 'Ted' Bowling

Theodore W. "Ted" Bowling 89, passed away in his sleep March 29, 2012. He was born November 1, 1922 in Carter County, Kentucky. He is a veteran of WW II serving honorably for his country in the United States Navy. After working for several years in home remodeling he found his true passion and calling, flea marketing and attending garage sales. Every Sunday for years he ran a flea market booth at Bargersville where he was known by all the regulars there. He is survived by his son, Ron Bowling; his daughter, LaVonne Eha; his grandchildren, Joe, Jim, Amanda, Bobby and B.J. and his great grandchildren, Julie, Emily and Alex. Also surviving, his brother, George Bowling; 2 sisters, Betty Owens and Jan Fultz. He was preceded in death by his companion, Lil Ebersole. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington St. Visitation will precede the service from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday. Interment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
