Theodore Terry

Theodore L. Terry 78, Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013. Theodore was born in Indianapolis, IN on February 1, 1935 to parents, Gaston I. and Dorothy M. (Franklin) Terry. Theodore attended University of Indianapolis and worked for Eli Lilly as a Technical Director for over 30 years. He was a member of the Brightwood Community Center, and active in various fraternal organizations. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gambling, camping, listening to classical music, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Theodore was preceded in death by his parents: Gaston and Dorothy Terry. Son: Kevin Terry and Brother: Gaston Terry Jr. He will be lovingly missed by his lovely wife of 53 years; Gladys (Smith) Terry. Children: Sean, Tony, and Pamela. Grandchildren: Briton (daughter), Caleb, Violet, Alexa, Kortney, Katelyn, Terrell, and Connie. Great-Grandchildren: Kevin, Kalen, Kai-lee, AJ, Jacob and Colten. Brothers and Sisters: Mary E. Clark, James W. Terry, Gladys R.M. Terry, W. Phillip Terry, Barbara A. Glynn, Theresa E. Barksdail, Beverly J. Wright, Johnny P. Terry, Maylo E. Davis, Victoria S. Terry and Elmore A. Jefferson. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 a.m., at Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple, on Friday, May 31, 2013, with a memorial visitation from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to service.
