Thelma Woody Smith

Thelma E. Smith 90 of Indianapolis passed away December 14, 2010. She was born September 27, 1920 in Savannah TN to James and Jessie Woody. Thelma was employed with Western Electric for over 10 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy E. Smith, son Joe Ray Smith and daughter Patty Derringer. Thelma is survived by 2 daughters; Jan (Bob) LaRussa and Mary Lou Swisher (Terry Dean), grandchildren; Kathleen Anderson, Charlotte Swickard, Arlene Mahoney, Jerry Bewley, Scott LaRussa, Melanie Srygler, Tracy Harper and Carrie Snow, 17 great grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren. The Funeral will be Friday December 17 at 3 PM in Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Floral Park. Visitation will be from 12 to 3PM at the Funeral Center.
