Thelma Irene Easley, 91, of Zionsville, Indiana passed away on January 1,2011. Thelma was born on June 16, 1919 in Marion County, Illinois to Emery and Millie (Loveless) Easley. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wilburn Lloyd Easley, and her siblings, Geneva Mills Kell, Oneta Mills Stevenson, Charles Emery Easley, Dwight Loveless Easley, and Lloyd Newton Easley. Thelma is survived by her children, Newell Easley (Debbie) and Nancy Schulte (Ron); her grandchildren, Scott Easley (Marie), Todd Schulte (Julie), Ryan Schulte (Wendy), Ryanne Easley (Jeff), and Leanne Schulte Gorman (Rob); and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Annie Easley, and was blessed with many wonderful nieces and nephews and dear friends at New Hope Christian Church. Thelma was a truly remarkable woman. She was a portrait of beauty, diginity and self sacrifice, rising to life's challenges with grace and quiet strength. She will always be a source of inspiration for those who knew her, even in the final stages of her life. We have learned so much from her, most notably the meaning of unconditional love. We are blessed to have had her in our lives, and will forever hold her sweet spirit in our hearts.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan. Zionsville Funeral Center. The funeral will immediately follow visitation, with Reverend David Bourne of New Hope Christian Church officiating. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday , January 5, 2011 at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children
