Thelma C. Kamp
92, died April 2, 2012. She was born on November 6, 1919, the daughter of Earl B. Cass and Kathryn (Evertson) Cass in Kimball, NE. She graduated from Huntington High School in Huntington, IN and attended Indiana Business College.
She was an executive secretary for Western Electric Corp. and AT&T, retiring in 1984. She also taught industrial classes in shorthand, typing and office procedures.
She married Gayle O. Kamp of Wabash, IN on November 22, 1939. He preceded her in death. They were married 72 years.
Thelma is survived by daughter, Cassandra L. Bradley (Jerry) and son, Gregory G. Kamp (Pat); grandchildren, Matthew Bradley (Danica), Marla Mast (Brian), Ryan Kamp (Anna), Michael Kamp (Darci) and seven great-grandchildren. She was a member of Irvington Presbyterian Church, Telephone Pioneers of America and Eastern Star.
Family and the activities of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were of particular importance to her. She also enjoyed creating beautiful needlework, along with a variety of other interests.

Funeral services will be on Friday, April 6, 2012 at 2 p.m. in Flanner and Buchanan - Washington Park East , with visitation one hour prior. Entombment will be in Mount Vernon Mausoleum, Washington Park East
