Terry Wayne Thompson

Terry Wayne Thompson of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away May 25, 2026, at 69 years of age. He was born on March 26, 1957, in Springfield, Ohio to the late John W. and Cledith J. (Clark) Thompson. Terry worked as an Anodizer for Magnode for over 30 years prior to his retirement. He loved to go fishing, he was an avid collector of “Hot Wheels”, he enjoyed going to visit pawn shops searching for a deal as well as visiting flea markets and yard sales. Terry thoroughly enjoyed spending quality time with his family, and they enjoyed spending time with him. He will be dearly missed. Terry is survived by his loving wife, Joyce A. (Rankin) Thompson, his children, Danita (Darryel) Gosman, Joseph (Julie) Wolfe, his grandchildren, Craig Wooten and Dylan Wolfe, his great grandchildren, Michael and Maris Wooten, and his brothers, Bill (Kay), and Herb Thompson. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Yvonne Bracken. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, 11:00am-2:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with the Funeral Service immediately following at 2:00pm there. Terry will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery in West Newton, Indiana.
