Terry Puckett

Indianapolis, Indiana – Terry Puckett, 63, went home to Christ on January 7, 2026. His kind nature and big heart will be forever missed by those who knew him.

Terry was born on April 14, 1962, to parents Harley & Dollie Marie (Williams) Puckett in Indianapolis, Indiana. A 1980 graduate of Warren Central High School, Terry went into the work force immediately, joining Citizen’s Gas utility company in 1981 and staying with them for over 40 years before retiring in 2022.

A simple man, Terry found his joy in all-American things like hamburgers, hot dogs, and the Colts. A twenty-year season ticket holder, he cheered them through thick and thin.

Most importantly, Terry was a man dedicated to this family and especially to his son Jeremy.

In addition to his parents, Terry is preceded in death by his siblings Billy Puckett, Eugene Puckett, Dean Puckett, Michael Puckett, Debra Robbins, and Juanita Thompson.

He is survived by his son Jeremy Puckett, brothers Ed Puckett (Mary Ann), Larry Puckett (Sherri), and Paul Puckett (Becky), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229) from 11:00 – 1:30 pm, with funeral services following at 1:30 pm. Burial will take place at Washington Park East Cemetery following services.

Romans 8:38 - 39: For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
