Terry L. Keedle, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2026, at Altenheim Family-First Senior Living Facility.

Born in 1947, Terry was the beloved son of the late Aljern and Chrystal Keedle. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Jerry L. Keedle, and his son, Alan C. Keedle. Terry is survived by his sister, Vicki (Brian) Davis; and his daughter, Angie (Keedle) Perkins-Walker (Monte). He is also survived by a granddaughter, Breann Perkins, a grandson, Chase Perkins, and a great granddaughter, Carlie Perkins.

After high school, he settled in Indianapolis in 1965. A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Terry served with distinction during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Chowanoc (ATF-100). Terry worked for 20+ years at Western Electric in Indianapolis and Ohio; in a multitude of different positions.

Terry was an accomplished artist as shown by a work he completed that is on display at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. Terry loved to draw and/ or paint America’s indigenous people, outdoor and nature, and animals with specificity towards wolves.

Terry had lifelong passions of carpentry, fishing, grilling and cooking. He was an avid fisherman, enjoying multiple local fishing holes; but he truly enjoyed heading north to the great lakes and fishing for walleye, trout, crappie, and anything else he could coax onto the hook of his favorite fishing pole.

Terry’s life was marked by his love of family, and he loved spending time with them. He will be remembered as a man of great compassion, empathy, and a willingness to help anyone at any time.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday October 30, 2026, from 11am until the time of service at 1m at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park. Entombment to directly follow.
