Terry Joseph Finn, 73, Indianapolis, passed away November 15, 2024. He was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph Francis Finn and Anna Martha (Minda) and grew up as one of twelve children. After high school Terry started working at McDonald's which developed into a lifelong career, and he became an owner and operator of his own stores.
As his career grew, so did his family. It was at McDonald's where he met the love of his life Christine (Dombroski) and then married in 1972. They were blessed with five children, and after multiple moves, found themselves in their current home in Indianapolis IN, where they have lived since 1986.
Terry was both an incredible father and grandfather who always put family first. Terry never missed one of his children's games or events. As time passed, he loved watching his grandchildren excel in their own sports and theater. He was devout in his Catholic faith and practiced his faith in many ways. He enjoyed giving back to his community.
Terry was an avid Notre Dame fan, loved his Indianapolis Colts, and always enjoyed getting up to Michigan to catch a Detroit Tigers game. But most of all, he looked forward to special getaways and time with Christine.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Anna, brother Tom (Sandy) and sister Ann Finn.
His survivors include wife Christine of 52 years, sons: Jason (Allison), William (Lauran); daughter: Shelly Shibley, sons: Matthew (Jennifer) and Patrick (Giovanna); grandchildren: Anna, Natalie, Abigail, Norah, Ari, Evan, Logan, Kyran, Aiden, Coen, Micah, Miles, Elizabeth, Madison and Francis; siblings: Joann Brohl (Bob), Rita Corrion (Julie), Francis (Jan), Darlene (Bob) Smith, Dennis (Lori), Cheryl Scislowitz (Mike), Greg (Vivian), Brian (Geri), Michael (Jackie); and an abundance of nieces and nephews.
