Terri Sue Davis, 69, passed away on October 27, 2026. She was born in Indianapolis to the late William P. and Mary R. Alsop.
Terri grew up in the Nora area of Indianapolis and was the youngest of four children. From an early age, her desire was to have a family, and that devotion remained at the center of who she was. She was known as a thoughtful, intentional, and caring person. Terri was a planner who was always thinking about what was next and how best to care for those she loved. Above all, she was a loving and devoted wife.
Terri attended North Central High School, where she received her certification in dental assisting. She went on to spend many years working as a dental assistant, serving others with the care that marked every part of her life.
Those who knew Terri will remember the many ways she made life warmer and more meaningful for the people around her. She was often the “family manager,” the one who kept things organized, remembered what mattered, and helped create the traditions that became treasured memories.
She had a special love for Christmas and made the holiday special each year. One of the moments her family will especially hold close was her reading of The Night Before Christmas every Christmas Eve, a tradition that brought comfort and joy every year.
Terri loved the beach and being outside, and she loved reading. Toward the end of her life, Bible study at church became especially meaningful to her and was a source of value and connection. Her spirit of care, thoughtfulness, and love will continue to be remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
Terri is survived by her loving spouse, Dick; daughters, Kristen (John) and Amy; grandchildren, Brice, Jude and Gianna.
She is preceded in death by her brother Bill and grandson Gerry.
