Terrence Dolatowski

Terrence F. (Terry) Dolatowski Age 61 passed in his sleep on July 12 after two years fighting cancer. He was born to Edward J. and Ann (Dwyer) Dolatowski on March 19, 1954 in East Chicago, Indiana. After graduating from Highland High School, he attended Vincennes University and Indiana State University. With compassion and care, he worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 25 years. He touched the lives of many and was loved by all. He loved his family, who cherished him, and his God. He is survived by his sisters, MaryAnn Ridder and Patricia Ricketts; his sister-in-law, Rosemary Dolatowski; his nieces, Jennifer, Eve and Elizabeth; and his nephew, Michael. His parents and brothers, William, Edward and Thomas preceded him in death. His family wishes to thank his nurse, Jackie, and his Aide, Melissa, of I.U. Health Hospice for the wonderful care they gave him in his last weeks. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, July 20 at Flanner and Buchanan- Broad Ripple, 1305 E. Broad Ripple Ave, with a rosary at 7:30pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, July 21 at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral, 1347 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN 46202, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM and will be followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral Parish, the Salvation Army or the Indianapolis Humane Society.
